Bio
Eric F. Saavedra is a seasoned attorney with over a decade of experience representing injured workers and accident victims across Maryland. His practice focuses on Maryland Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury law, where he is known for his tenacious advocacy, practical insight, and compassionate client care.
A first-generation American born and raised in the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) area, Mr. Saavedra is the first in his family to graduate from college, earning a B.A. in English from the University of Central Florida in 2003. He is a native Spanish speaker with strong ties to the local immigrant community, and his Nicaraguan and Salvadoran heritage allows him to provide culturally competent, bilingual legal representation to Spanish-speaking clients.
Mr. Saavedra began his legal career in 2005 as a paralegal at Antezana & Antezana, LLC, balancing full-time work with evening studies at the University of Baltimore School of Law from 2008 to 2012. After being admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2013, he was promoted to associate attorney, where he litigated workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. He played a key role in establishing the firm’s MVA litigation department.
In 2019, Mr. Saavedra launched his own solo practice, where he served injured clients with integrity and personal attention for five years. Throughout his solo career, he was recognized each year as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine—an honor awarded to only the top 2.5% of young attorneys in the state. In July 2024, Mr. Saavedra returned home to Antezana & Antezana, LLC, rejoining the firm as a senior attorney.
Mr. Saavedra resides in Montgomery County with his wife and blended family. He is a proud UCF Knight and a diehard fan of all things D.C. sports.
