Bio
Jose Caballe was drawn to the practice of law through personal hardship. After tearing his ACL four times in college, he had to relearn how to walk and live with a disability. During that time, he experienced firsthand what it feels like to lose your identity and to be mistreated by professionals who refused to take responsibility. Advocating for himself during recovery inspired Jose to dedicate his career to advocating for others when they are at their most vulnerable.
One of the defining moments of Jose’s career was securing one of the largest Workers’ Compensation recoveries in Virginia history. The case involved a client whose life was permanently altered by a tragic accident. While nothing could undo the harm, Jose’s work ensured that the client and his family would never have to worry about financial security again—an outcome that remains deeply meaningful to him.
Jose’s approach to law is straightforward and results-driven. As a civil attorney, his role is to maximize the financial recovery for injured clients. He understands that while injuries can’t always be fixed, financial stability can restore dignity, security, and peace of mind.
He relates closely to clients navigating Workers’ Compensation and motor vehicle accident claims, where insurance companies often control medical care or reduce people to paperwork and numbers. By understanding how insurers evaluate cases—and by truly knowing his clients’ personal stories—Jose helps ensure their voices are heard and their claims are positioned for the strongest possible outcome.
Communication is at the core of Jose’s practice. He believes strong attorney-client relationships are built on openness and trust. Fluent in multiple languages, Jose communicates with clients in their preferred language and gains a strategic advantage in court by fully understanding testimony before the opposition does.
Outside of work, Jose comes from a proud immigrant background—his father emigrated from Barcelona, Spain. A lifelong soccer fan and former competitive player, he supports FC Barcelona and Manchester City and continues to value teamwork both on and off the field. He is also active in the community, serving as a board member for the Potomac Valley Irish Wolfhound Association.
