Bio

Nykolaus A. Pinnock is an attorney who cares about people as much as the problems they bring to him. He is especially committed to serving immigrant and minority communities who may find the legal system unfamiliar or intimidating. As the son of Jamaican immigrants, he understands what it means to navigate unfamiliar systems, and he makes sure every client understands their rights, their options, and where their case stands.

Nykolaus grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland, and spent part of his youth in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. He earned his B.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park, drawn to the field by a lifelong interest in connecting with people from different walks of life. His aunt, who grew up in Cuba, spoke Spanish throughout his childhood, and his time in South Florida strengthened his desire to learn the language. Today he speaks Spanish and uses it every day to communicate directly with his clients.

Before law, Nykolaus built a career in enterprise program management and data analytics, leading complex programs alongside diverse stakeholders on teams around the world. That experience shapes how he practices. He approaches each case with organization and analytical rigor, and he knows how to communicate clearly with people of every background.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2025. During law school, he served two years as Class Vice President of the Student Bar Association and was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Student Association and the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Association. He has also completed the FINRA Arbitrator Training Program.

Nykolaus joined Antezana & Antezana in 2026, where he represents English- and Spanish-speaking clients in personal injury and motor vehicle accident matters. He handles each case from start to finish: communicating with insurance carriers, negotiating with medical providers, and advocating for clients in Maryland District Court. He has also put his background to work for the firm, building a settlement evaluation tool and a shared document library now used across the practice. Above all, he makes sure his clients feel heard, informed, and supported from the first call to the final resolution.

Outside the office, Nykolaus is a fan of all things media and entertainment, including movies, music, TV, and pop culture, and he follows the latest developments in technology.
